K-6 KLA
Schools in our diocese provide the best of contemporary education while retaining proven practice. Our teachers and support staff focus on the individual and strive to update their skills by taking advantage of the many and varied inservice opportunities offered by the CSO every year.
Our foundation and defining feature is Religious Education. Religious Education courses in primary schools follow the Celebrating our Journey syllabus and in Secondary Schools the Faithful to God, Faithful to People syllabus. In each school the Religious Education Coordinator (REC) assists staff to implement the syllabus and works closely with parents and parish people.
We teach all subjects (Key Learning Areas: KLAs) approved by the Board of Studies and we are proud of the holistic education offered where every child has the opportunity to develop their full range of potential. These include a variety of extra curricular, cultural and sporting activities that will vary from school to school.
One constant across all schools is the energy and enthusiasm you will find from the principal and all staff members. Our schools are great places in which to work and learn.
